Claire Hardy is a consultant solicitor in the family department, having completed her training at Turpin & Miller in December 2017. She undertakes all aspects of family law, including Child Arrangements Orders, where parents are in dispute over contact and residence, Special Guardianship Orders, adoption, divorce proceedings, non-molestation and occupation orders. She has a keen interest in public law and regularly acts for parents in care proceedings, pre-proceedings and s.20 voluntary agreements.
She previously ran a free legal advice clinic for women staying in local refuge and has also volunteered for several charities including: NCDV, successfully representing victims of domestic abuse, in emergency injunction applications; and IPSEA representing parents of children with special educational needs.
She is a member of Resolution, an organisation for family lawyers that promotes a non-confrontational approach to family law, taking a sensitive, constructive, cost-effective approach.
