Arrangements for separated parents

When parents separate there can be disagreements about all sorts of issues, including where the children live, where they go to school, who they live with and who they spend time with.

"They are empathetic, efficient and child-focused."

Chambers & Partners 2025

Where possible, it is always better to reach an agreement about such matters, but we recognise that it can sometimes be difficult to achieve this. Our team are all specialist children lawyers, and we have a wide range of experience and qualifications within the team to help you.

Our team includes Children Panel members and lawyers who are hugely experienced in child protection cases, and cases involving the Local Authority. They can bring that expertise to assist parents and others in reaching sensible arrangements for their children.

We also have lawyers in the team who have expertise in international relocation and abduction, kinship care and SGO’s, as well as qualified mediators, so we can really cover every aspect of child arrangements.

Many of the team have undertaken training on child development, neuro-divergency, domestic abuse and understanding trauma.

Our team will consider your circumstances and advise you about the options that might be open to you. This can include family mediation, negotiation, arbitration, or court proceedings.
